Catherine & Eric's Grosse Pointe Wedding Photos

It was so fun to start my month of cousins and siblings of previous wedding couples. If you'll look back to last June, you'll find Catherine's cousin's wedding, which was also in Grosse Pointe and the reception was at Grosse Pointe's Lochmoor Club as well. We had a rain shower to beat the band... it was a downpour and we all holed up under a gazebo for twenty minutes until the sun came back out. Waldenwoods Wedding ~ Angela & Matt

Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the Waldenwoods Camp Ground. Now don't jump to conclusions... it's not JUST a camp ground. It has a nice lodge for the wedding reception and estate type buildings for wedding party and guest to stay in and get ready in (no air conditioning though) and the ceremony is usually by the lake. Penna's Wedding Photography ~ Megan & Ryan

Church; St. Owen's Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and their reception was held at Penna's in Sterling Heights. We stopped along the way at the Macomb County offices where there is a park and much needed shade... it was a scorcher!!!! Kalamazoo Wedding Photography - Leslie & Joe

Like just about all of my wedding clients, Leslie & Joe came to me from another happy couple, Henry and Sarah who attended this Kalamazoo wedding. It was a HOT day, but we stayed inside the hotel for much of the wedding, only venturing out for about an hour for their group shots. The bridal party happily played in a fountain in Kalamazoo, but there wasn't any water in it! On Western University's campus we did find a fountain with water and the ladies needed little encouragement to get right into the water!
